We have exciting updates to share with you! GrowLab is adding hand-selected Entrepreneurs- in- Residence to our roster of first rate mentors and we’re pleased to announce that Mark Relph has officially joined GrowLab as an EIR.
As you may have read, seven startups are joining GrowLab this Fall. We say that we seek to add value to our portfolio companies; we always see it through. In the coming weeks, the GrowLab team will mentor and leverage our extensive network to lead the Fall cohort through intensive acceleration period.
Now busier than ever with growing numbers of portfolio companies, 23 to date, we want to ensure they are all fully supported. We enlisted Mark Relph, an industry veteran, to share his wealth of experience and vast network which undoubtedly will be a valuable resource.
Our EIR’s will have a regular presence at the GrowLab office and will work with our current cohort as well as our alumni. Mark and others will also fly the GrowLab flag and “hunt for talent” and help in identifying and selecting our next cohort, slated for a February start. GrowLab also looks forward to adding fresh perspective in the continued development of our program.
The technology giants that dominate the industry today were once startups, making bold decisions that got them to where they are today. Mark played a crucial role in that process at Microsoft for over a decade, and is now looking to help more startups getting to that point.
“There are great things happening in Vancouver and I am honoured to be joining the outstanding team at GrowLab. I’m excited to offer my experience and passion for technology to help the GrowLab companies be amazing,” said Mark Relph.
GrowLab is excited about having Mark and other top-notch industry veterans join our founders and executive director to push each GrowLab company to a new height. GrowLab will be announcing our next distinguished EIR in the coming weeks, stay tuned!
